Árpád GELLÉRT obtained his MSc (2003) and the PhD (2008) in Computer Science at “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu. He also obtained the habilitation in Computers and Information Technology (2023). He is currently working as professor in the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Department of the same university. Previously he was a Java developer at Multimedia Capital Romania.
His research interests include computer architecture, ubiquitous computing, machine learning, pattern recognition and prediction algorithms. He published four books and over thirty scientific papers in some prestigious journals and international conferences. He developed as a project manager a research grant supported by the Romanian National Council of Academic Research (CNCSIS).
